Well, hundreds of people seem to be reading your posts, so no worries. At least you have the balls to ask questions.
I don't recall when the LORs are due to the programs, but you can always add them to ERAS at any time (e.g. late in December). Programs may download them anyway. Once you register for ERAS, you will see that you can check to see who has downloaded your app materials. ERAS is set up so that you can see exactly what the program has downloaded (e.g. just board scores, or just the personal statement, or only the board scores and LOR but not the main app, etc). ERAS also lists the date every time they download any of your materials. I had LORs added late, and almost all the programs downloaded them late.
You can always have letters mailed directly to individuals programs by your school, along with the letter that says that you didn't have access to the letter. Mind you that there are different schools of thought as to whether or not it is wise to send in extra or late material, and whether or not it is wise/acceptable to mail material (individual programs may spell this out on their websites).
Also, if you receive any major awards of interest late in the application cycle (AOA, congressional medal of honor), don't be shy about forwarding this information directly to programs. It generally helps more than it hurts.
