Are you Caribbean IMG or from elsewhere? Either way you can expect to not get a lot of interviews. I did my first two years in the carib and then transferred to a US school. Same exact Step 1 score as you. Only got 7 interviews. The truth is that when every applicant has scores and grades from US schools, program directors need a way to thin the herd. Foreign med school is an easy way to do that. They say, "Oh we can't find a way to compare your basic science classes to those of US students." It's a total cop out in my opinion. My carib past was talked about in every single interview.
Sorry to say, but it's gonna be a tough road. IMG is a curse. But you have to do it if you can't see yourself in another field. Try to rotate at a few programs, maybe you can change their minds. Look into programs that have an IMG. Drexel has a few residents who transferred from carib to US so they may be more sympathetic. Also, do everything you can think of to boost your application, research, extracurriculars, etc. Good luck to you. PM me if you have any questions.
