Was recently offered a PGY 2 position. The general surgery program that I am in has been giving me a difficult time in trying to switch my schedule to meet the ABOS internship requirements. I think I will be about 2-3 months short. When I accepted the prelim surg position, they stated if I was offered a 2nd year spot they would work with me and that has not been the case so far.
