Seeking a highly motivated Research Coordinator to work with leading Orthopaedic Trauma surgeon in New York City. Start date in early June; salary and benefits available. Contact me asap.

Qualifications:
• Completed M.D.
• Sub-internship or other direct experience in Orthopaedic surgery
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills (statistics experience is a plus)
• Self-starter with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and dedication required
• English fluency required

Duties:
• Overseeing all research projects from study design to publication
• Developing and leading new research protocols, including laboratory-based and clinical outcomes research
• Collaborating with orthopaedic residents and attendings on research projects
• Collecting data on research subjects via review of patient charts, imaging, etc. and maintenance of databases
• Preparing research protocols/applications (IRB, IACUC, HIPAA, etc)
• Preparing grant proposals
• Identifying, consenting, and acting as a resource for study participants
• Assisting with lab work, possibly including cadaver dissections
• Data analysis and the writing or editing of posters, abstracts, or scientific papers
• Creating presentations for orthopaedic conferences
• Preparation of textbook chapters
• Overseeing and training the Research Aide

My name is Dr Apoorv Prasad and I interested in your position.I am currently doing an MSc in Musculoskeletal Sciences in Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital,Stanmore ,London.I have finished my M.B.B.S from Grant Medical College,Mumbai.I have done a clinical elective in Trauma/Emergency Surgery from Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago.I am well trained in Statistics and currently i am doing my research on Histomorphological Analysis of Hip resurfacings at autopsy.I have also written my USMLES.Kindly let me know if i am eligible for your place.
