How important is it to have a flexible schedule for interviews during the period of 11/13 to 12/10? I got the un-luck of the draw in my school's lottery system for required 4th year courses to be put on an inpatient "advanced medicine" rotation which only allows 4 NONCONSECUTIVE days off for that entire four-week block. However today I received an e-mail stating that there is an opening for next month, unfortunately next month is the same month I'm scheduled to do one of my only two away rotations...

So what it comes down to is that I could go with what I have right now and just hope I'm able to squeeze in whatever interviews I get during the two months after my medicine rotation ends on 12/10 (both following months will be very flexible), or I could cancel my away rotation (and probably screw myself in terms of matching there) and schedule my medicine elective for next month which would give me ample time for interviews at pretty much any time of the interview season. Is it possible to schedule interviews late enough that I don't need to worry about this?
