HELP!
Rendering Error in layout BBCode/Image: Layout 'BBCode/Image:default' Not Found. Please enable debug mode for more information.

I recently received an interview invite to Albany on the same day as my interview with GWU (Jan 13th) and, of course, neither are changable. There seems to be no recent information about either of these programs on the site. The only post I could find about GWU was a scathing review from 3 years ago that was based on second-hand information. Anybody have some insight on either of these programs? Thanks much!

I have no clue about GWU's program, but being a student at Albany Med I can tell you that the ortho program here is a hidden gem. There are no fellows at Albany Med so residents get all of the cases, which is a plus, and the majority of the orthopods here look forward to teaching. The workload is heavy especially during the PGY-2 year, but isnt much different from other institutions. THis program DEFINITELY is not malignant at all, another major positive. Albany is a very affordable city especially if you happen to have a family or want to start one. I would encourage you to seriously consider interviewing here. You may not be very fond of the city of Albany after coming(esp in Jan) but I can assure you that you will love the program. This is my humble opinion, I hope others out there with experience here can lend you some advice as well. Good luck.
