250+ on Step1, and on a research year currently. I've set time aside to potentially take Step 2 early next year, as schools are starting to require it. But, by what I've read recently, people with 250's shouldn't be screened out anyways, and there isn't much a high step 2 score would add. Would it be a red flag if I had a whole year off and didn't take Step 2?
