Hey guys how did your transit between away rotations work? I've talked with some of the programs I am rotating at and they made it seem like they expected me to be present the weekend between when their rotation ends and my next one begins. But of course, I need to be on a plane to my next away rotation. Is this common for away rotations or do most people have more time between away rotations? I am doing them back to back which I thought was normal.

The rotations I was accepted for all have a start date of Monday on the first of the four weeks. Each one of them basically said via e-mail that I am to report to x building at 7 or 8 AM.

I guess my question was if it was understood that your roatation ended on a friday so you to travel over the weekend to get to your next away?

I checked the dates of my rotations and they list the fourth friday as my last official day, so I guess I am assuming that the weekend is free for travel for me. For example, one rotation I am scheduled for 8/23/10 to 9/17/10 and the official dates for the adjacent rotation is 9/20/10 to 10/15/10
