The Wake Forest University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery would like to welcome fourth year medical students currently enrolled in United States allopathic medical schools to rotate as an acting intern in our department. We have expanded our acting internship program to allow up to eight (8) students to rotate during each academic block. Our top priorities during your rotation are to advance your orthopaedic knowledge base, initiate the transition from medical student to resident, and expose you to a wide variety of orthopaedic surgical conditions and clinical styles.
