Wayne State?

This info is based on applicants we have had here that are from or konw someone from wayne state, so it is third hand. I was told that there was some sort of fallout b/t the hospital and ortho, and that the department is not interviewing people until they get it sorted out, which may mean that if they do take people this year it could be outside and/or after the match. Just what I heard, and in no way official. Still, it does not sound good, especially since they take something like 8 people a year. Than equals fewer spots up for grabs in this years match for everyone.

I spoke to some of the residents a couple of days ago and the consensus was that things don't look good but the drop dead date for the program is still a week or two away, so they still may interview/have a program afterall.
