Hey guys,
MS3 here, here are my stats:

Top 20 medical school
USMLE step 1: 256
First 2 years of med school: All's A's except 1 B+
3rd year grades thus far: A's in neurology and OB/Gyn, B's in Peds, Family, and Surgery (those shelfs were hard for some reason)
Still have Psych and IM to do
...btw, is a B a high pass or pass? Our school has a distinction between a B and a B+...not sure how the conversion works there
Research: Two years, no publications, publication in progress for JBJS

Thanks!

I am only a recent applicant who just matched, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
I think that your application seems good except for your clinical grades. I would shoot for AOA if it is still possible at your school. Also, chose aways carefully (perhaps a reach or 2 and a less prestigious program) and impress at those.
Where you match is totally unpredictable as from my limited experience the interview is truly of paramount importance and if even superstars on paper can have unhappy surprises because of mediocre interviews.
Good luck!

agree with above... chances seem pretty good. You should kill those last 2 rotations though, because clinical grades are more important than first year grades.
