Ideal candidates:

  • Pursuing a career in research, and/or
  • Medical school graduates or current 4th year medical students possibly seeking future residencies

Duties of the Research Intern:

  • Coordinate all aspects of assigned research projects
  • Prepare research protocols/applications (IRB, IACUC, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Identify, consent, and act as a resource for study participants
  • Collect data on research subjects via review of patient charts, imaging, follow-up visits, etc.
  • Maintenance of databases
