The Hospital for Special Surgery Hand Department is looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic medical student interested in having one year of quality orthopaedic research. 

We are looking to hire a medical student for a paid, year-long research position. The experience here is incredible with the opportunity to participate in a wide array of research projects.  Drs. Wolfe and Lee are phenomenal mentors who are extremely productive academically and are outstanding hand surgeons.
 
Bios:
 
Chief Emeritus of the Hand and Upper Extremity Service and Attending Orthopedic Surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Scott Wolfe is acknowledged to be one of the most experienced, innovative and authoritative experts in orthopedic upper extremity care. As lead author, he has published well over 100 major papers throughout his 25 year career in the most respected, peer-reviewed, American medical journals. His career goal is to help achieve consistently superior patient outcomes in hand and nerve surgery.
 
 
Associate Attending Orthopedic Surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery. At HSS, he holds a number of leadership positions such as Research Director of the HSS Center for Brachial Plexus and Traumatic Nerve Injury where he is involved with cutting edge research in clinical outcomes and basic science for the improvement of care of the patient with devastating nerve injuries
