The Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Department of Orthopaedic Surgery announces a one-year research fellowship position in basic science and translational research. We invite highly motivated medical students or recent graduates to apply for this opportunity.
The research fellow will be expected to work on a number of ongoing projects, including bone toxicology and regenerative medicine studies that will utilize in vitro as well as animal (mouse, rat, and rabbit) pre-clinical models. The fellow will have the opportunity to participate in one or more clinical research projects as well. Fellows may also participate in clinical and educational activities hosted by the Northwestern University Orthopaedic Residency Program. Although bench or animal research experience is a plus, no prior experience is required. This position offers a small monthly stipend.
