Wake Forest Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is currently accepting applications for a one-year Physician position. This position will act as an orthopedic instructor for ER/inpatient consultations during the week, be an orthopedic liaison to the on-call orthopedic team, have access to assist with the care of both outpatient and inpatient orthopedic patients, and assist with weekend patient coordination.

This position will assist physicians working up patient history and physicals, perform procedures within the ER, and have access to attend orthopedic conferences (Grand Rounds, Trauma Conference, Resident Journal Clubs).  Primary work hours will be Monday – Friday with the call team during the day and occasional Saturday inpatient coverage pending scheduling with current Advanced Practitioners.

Requirements: Must take Step III exam (to be eligible for a FULL North Carolina Medical Board license). Must possess or be eligible for a North Carolina Medical Board License as of July 1, 2022.
