2023-2024 Orthopaedic Surgery Research Fellowship at Cooper University Hopsital

The Cooper Bone & Joint Institute at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ is seeking a highly qualified individual for a one-year orthopaedic research fellowship position. We encourage recent medical school graduates and current 3rd year medical students interested in taking a gap year to do orthopaedic surgery research to apply.

This position is under the guidance of the Institute’s orthopaedic residency director and orthopaedic oncologist, Tae Won B. Kim, MD.

Responsibilities:

Creation of IRB protocols, collection and analysis of data, management of open studies and databases, & drafting and submission of manuscripts.

Goal:

Have a productive year in terms of scholarly activity and increased academic knowledge. Through the fellow’s efforts and productivity, we anticipate that these activities can strengthen their application for the residency match.

Qualifications:

Extremely motivated individual with excellent organizational and communicational skills. The individual must also be detail-oriented and have a strong academic record.
