Just curious...
Anyone got the scoup on which programs have a reputation of making "phone calls" to either c where u stand, hint for u to stop interviewing etc??

Anyone know anything about U of Florida? I heard that Dr. Gearen makes some phone calls. How many does he call? Just the top 4? Has he made any calls yet?

Why does this thread exist? You either get a letter/phone call, or you don't... Any communication received should have no bearing on your decision making. All you are doing is feeding your own/others neuroticism.

Grimgrizly - To answer your question, Yale letter was from Dr. Jokl.

I think that it is fun to hear about these things. Also someone above (tarsalcoalition) specificially asked about correspondances from that list of programs he/she posted.

This discussion may bother some people, but they are not speaking for everyone.

There hasn't been much talk this year about post interview antics. Are people just not sharing the info, or are fewer calls being made from previous years?..Just wondering, and this stress the eating me alive
