Texas Back Institute is currently seeking residents in orthopaedic surgery or neurosurgery who are interested in an ACGME accredited fellowship program beginning August 1, 2015 under the direction of Richard Guyer, M.D. and Jack Zigler, M.D.

 

 

TBI faculty consists of 15 fellowship-trained spine surgeons who offer a broad experience with exposure to varying philosophies of care as well as to multiple surgical techniques. TBI is a very busy academic oriented community practice that attaches supreme importance to quality patient care, education and research.

All applicants must be board certified (or eligible) and must have completed an accredited orthopaedic or neurosurgery residency program. Eligibility for full Texas licensure is required.

Program curriculum includes training in degenerative conditions of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine; cervical and lumbar arthroplasty; adult reconstructive spine surgery; minimally invasive endoscopic surgery; adolescent and adult deformities; spinal trauma and clinical research.
