Here's what you need to know.
1. The Institute of Sports Medicine at the University of Maribor, the University Medical Centre Maribor, the Science and Research Centre at the University of Primorska and the National Football Centre in Brdo have all received the joint accreditation from FIFA.
2. Worldwide there are almost 50 FIFA accredited centers.
3. Institute of Sports Medicine Principal Professor Matjaz Vogrin lauded the center receiving its accreditation saying to FIFA "It is an honor to receive such a high recognition of our work and expertise and to join such an exclusive network of sports medicine centres of excellence.
