Diversity in Orthopedics

I qualify for the diversity mentoring program and was initially excited about it. However, after much hassle, I realized that there is not much substance to the program and there are very few mentors willing to work with students. Overall, the program gave me the run-around and I was left with nothing. Disappointing...

I'm sorry to hear that. It looked like a nice program. I would encourage you to email or write the diversity committee of the AAOS to let them know of your situation so improvements can be made.
