Grand Rapids vs UAB

I pretty much need to decide which one of the two programs (Grand Rapids or Univ of Alabama-Birmingham) to interview at. The advice so far has been they are both pretty solid programs.

Anyone happen to have experience with both programs and can give their educated two cents?

Grand Rapids is a incredible program. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience when I was there several years ago (I am a PGY3 elsewhere now). I highly recommend that program.

I do not have first hand experience on UAB, but I had a classmate who rotated there and enjoyed it, but it was not his first choice.
