Hi Everyone,

I'm a medical student and an abstract that I submitted for the 2009 MAOA has recently been accepted. I plan on attending the conference in April to present it as well, and am curious about how to report it on my CV and future ERAS.

For people who've done this, do you report it on your CV both as a published abstract and seperately as an attended conference/presentation, or should I should report it as one or the other?

Thanks for the help,

I too had a question concerning abstarcts. My abstract is going to be presented this Feb at the ORS (Ortho Research Society) meeting. I was wondering, just as the previous poster is, on how to go about putting this on ERAS/CV.

does an abstract of this nature count as a "published" article, which will be looked as a plus when applying for residencies or does it actually have to be published in a journal to be of some impact.

Thanks in advance!
