I submitted my application to Missouri's Columbia 6 year unfilled spot during the scramble. Can anyone tell me about the interview process there? I saw different opinions in two earlier posts. If you got pimped, who was pimping and what where they asking?
Also, their website doesn't seem to seem to give a current list of their faculty. It says Dr. Allen is the chair, but I've heard he isn't. Can you fill me in on their current faculty?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If things are the same as the regular interview days, I wouldn't stress out because it's pretty laid back. The isn't much in the way of pimping. The chief resident that was doing the interviews feels obligated to ask an anatomy question, but it's not going to kill you. He's cool about it. The website is not updated. The chair is Dr. Calhoun he came from Galveston and is a foot and ankle specialist. Dr. Allen does pretty much a little of everything, but doesn't really take trauma call. Dr. Rispler only does clinical orthopaedics. Dr. Gainor does hand, and I believe is operating as the residency director. Dr. Bal is all joints. Dr. Anglen splits time between private practice and the university, he is a well-known trauma guy. I think that about sums it up, Dr. Calhoun is very active in recruiting new faculty he wants to get about 15 attendings when all is said and done. The residents are a good group of people.
