so i've got 3 letters in: IM clerkship director who i worked with and knows me well, general surg attending who i worked one-on-one with, and well-known ortho surgeon who i worked well with during a sub-I. i also asked the PD at my home school for a letter that will hopefully be coming in soon. problem is i didn't work with him that much. i gave him my CV and asked him to get resident's imput who i worked with for the letter. so i was wondering if you guys think the first 3 LORs are sufficient for applying to ortho and then sending the PD's letter to schools that spefically ask for it?
should i really have all ortho letters or is the above okay? i'm only going to send 3 LORs to most schools since they specifically ask for 3 of them.
