Trauma Book

Both a good. Most would agree that Rockwood and Green is the classic text and should be on every orthopod's shelf. Also, the Handbook of Fractures is based off of Rockwood and Green and is meant as a companion text. If your institution subscribes to mdconsult.com than there is a free online version of Skeletal Trauma as well.

I am not sure if the newer version of Rockwood reads better, but my institution used Rockwood and we all found me watt too historic and just the ease of reading put me to sleep. I got the new skeletal trauma and it reads much better, has more pertinent information, and better explanations...just my thoughts. I also do not know what is in the new Rockwood.
