Does anyone have more information on Iowa's ortho program? I am considering doing an away rotation there this summer and wanted as much info as possible about their program. Some specific questions I have are:
1) How are their rotations set up each year from PGY2-5 (which services do you cover each year)?
2) How does their intern year compare to other programs?
3) What is their call schedule?
4) What is the residents' happiness and overall satisfaction?
5) How is the lifestyle within the program?
6) Operative experience?
7) Overall feeling about the program?
I know Iowa is a great program, but some of these specific details from either residents, rotators, or even applicants who interviewed there this year would be greatly appreciated.
