Wake forest is a pretty good program.... they are VERY VERY trauma heavy... almost to excess. The residents are all kept hopping all night long even as seniors. The residents work VERY hard.... but learn a lot. The hospital is nice. Winston-Salem leaves a little to be desired. It's a traditional southern town.... kinda small. There are some nice areas and it is good for married people.... single life isn't the greatest. Residents seem to get along pretty well together. I think one downside to the program is that the residents can't cover all of their attendings clinics... although they do get to run their own clinics
