i think its time for everyone holding conflicting spots to start cancelling... the December season already had too many no-shows, and there's time still to decline with appropriate notice so they can give your spot to a waitlisted applicant.
if you're in a position to be cancelling anything at all, you're probably in a better state than many others who might be waiting on the edge of their seat to hear from that conflicting program you aren't really all that interested in going to anyway
