Does anyone know more information about the Bankruptcy issue with St. Vincents Brooklyn/Queens program? I got an invite, so I'm definitely going, but that seems pretty significant.
HJD sort of seems to have sent out their invites although people are saying they were individual emails so maybe they'll send out a few more...
Has Mt. Sinai sent out rejections? I rotated there but haven't heard from them.
finally heard today... rejections in snail mail... from Temple and Union Memorial.
Maryland is still offering interviews for 1/7. Go figure. I declined, but perhaps this will give a little bit of hope to those still hoping for some good news at this late date. Good luck all.
Just got NYMC @ Westchester too but same day as UMASS. Any insight on these programs and which to keep/cancel would be appreciated. Getting annoyed at overlap of dates...honestly, there are 31 days in January, spread it out a little!!!
OK, so today I recieved an invite for NYMC @ Westchester for Jan 14th as well. I really want to see both programs though. Any advice from those familiar with PSU and/or Westchester?

Interviews are scheduled for Saturday, January 14, 2006.
There will be two sessions:
1st one to begin at: 7:30am (overview of program)
8:00am interviews begin (followed by lunch & tour)
2nd one to begin at: 11:00am Tour and Lunch, followed by overview and
interview
The way some ortho programs are handling the application process has actually has started to turn me off (a bit that is) to the field
I mean I'll take what I can get but rejecting people and then asking them to come to interview later is highly unprofessional and downright ugly (for a lack of a better word). Keep a F**KING waitlist and tell folks they are on the waitlist (GWU was fantastic in this regard).
This uneven power structure in this process has to change... this is ridiculous!
Anyway enough of my rant... also got penn state after rejection but declined, going to Temple.

I finally got my invite to Temple in the mail this afternoon, 2 days after many others, and too late to call to confirm an interview time. Not to sound ungrateful because I'm very happy to have another interview, but I hate snail mail! This is the first time I wished I didn't live in California.
Now it's Tues. I still haven't talked to the coordinator about scheduling - somewhat important since I have another interview that afternoon. For those of you that are in a similar situation, I finally called the main office, and it turns out she won't be back until Thursday. I was told to call her at 10:30 am. Good luck.
I don't know what UCLA/Harbor was thinking picking those dates. Let's see, other CA schools with those dates: UCLA, UCSD, UCSF. I told them to take a hike.
