Bronx-Lebanon Research Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction

The Orthopaedic Adult Reconstruction Service at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital has an immediate opening for a research fellow. The candidate has the opportunity to work closely with the adult reconstruction team, participate in clinic and conferences, co-authorship on articles published in peer-review journals, observing joint replacement cases in the OR. 

This position is minimum 6 month and is ideal for candidates for othopaedic residency or adult reconstruction fellowship to acquire hands-on experience, improve their CV, and obtain recommendation letters. The fellow is required to coordinate research projects from study design to publication, IRB related protocols, collection of data, and writing and editing of abstracts and manuscripts

Qualifications:

• Current medical student or completed MD, candidates for othopaedic residency or adult reconstruction fellowship
• English fluency required, Spanish is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, writing, communication, and analytical skills
