Interviewed at 10....did not rank one of them
1. UT Campbell Clinic--awesome program, family close
2. Southern Illinois--rotated there, loved it, could easily have been 1 if not for being in Springfield, IL.
3. UAB--Good solid growing program
4. University of Missouri-Columbia (5 year)--Great new chairman, looking good for years to come
5. Orlando Regional--Were it not for the cost of housing, may have been 3.
6. University of Mississippi-- Good group of residents. Really work their butt's off. Hate to say it but $10000 less a year than most other places certainly played a role.
7. University of Missouri (6 year)-- same as above
8. Ochsner-- Top 5 were it not for the situation in NO. Housing is an issue.
9. Tulane-- Anticipated them being last on my list, but sounds like they will pull through and only ship you out once.
10. LSU-NO-- Good program, great group of residents who know how to have a good time. Would have been higher if being shipped all over the state wasn't an issue for me. But it is.
Did not rank Shreveport. Got the impression that it was a very mediocre program at the interview. Not sure what direction if any they are headed. One resident said he expected to be closed down in 3 years. Not what you want to hear when you are looking at spending 5 years there. Just not worth the risk to me.
