Hey all, just wondering if any of you have heard from any programs post-interview and if you wanted to share which program that could be useful too. Good luck everyone. Less than 2 months till it's all over!

last year lenox hill sent out an "excellent interview" email to people on the rank list. not sure if the email went out this year as there were some changes in the program. Anyone out there got that email in the past couple of weeks?

Haven't heard from Lenox Hill.

From what I hear Pitt, Michigan, and Duke have all been active in contacting people.

Other than the standard post-interview letter in December, has anyone heard anything from Mayo?

Northwestern has already called their top guys. If you were really interested in the program, hopefully you are one of the lucky few who already knew that.

What did LIJ say when they called? Was it just for the top 3 or anyone who will be "high" on the list?

applicant was told that he/she was high on the ranklist and that hopefully this would provide some peace of mind

I've gotten a few panicked PM's, so I just wanted to clarify. I do not know exactly what the phone call situation was this year, but I do know that LIJ does not always make phone calls. Most years, they do not make them at all. In those years in which calls were made, they were not made to all people who were even ranked to match. I do not know this year's rank list, nor do I know who was called, how many were called, and where those people who were called fell on the list.

I can say this with certainty: 1) the rank list was finalized before any calls could be made, so there is no required agreement or response on the part of any applicant. 2) to my knowledge, only one of the current residents in our program had received a phone call, despite many being ranked to match.

Hope this helps.

When I was a resident at Mount Sinai, we never contacted applicants after the interview.

as far as these things go, even if you get calls, i think it's best to take everything with a proverbial grain of salt - it could mean nothing, just as not getting a call usually doesn't mean much - nothing is certain until match day
