Which would you do? Case western, William Beaumont or Kamamazoo. I can only chose 2 becasue of available dates. Any info would help.

Thanks

i also got Beaumont today by email for dec 9 or jan 6.

big schedule conflicts at the moment and will likely have to choose between interviewing locally (Kzoo, Beaumont) or other places, knowing that the best shot for matching tends to be regional, but that I'd rather go elsewhere.

ortho060802, i'd pick case over the two michigan programs you mentioned, but that's just me. unfortunately case hasn't graced me with an interview. i do, however, have to choose between beaumont and kzoo, as i called both and neither are willing to be flexible with interview dates for me. alas.

that's the really hard part about this for me - i'm not a stellar applicant and am treasuring each and every interview offer i get. when i have to start declining them for scheduling conflicts, it about kills me.

not too much other than it's a mid-sized program and i think i might like to get out of michigan; these thoughts aren't CWRU specific ... but they're factors i'm considering.

So what would you pick, anyone, Kalamazoo, or William Beaumont?

It kills me that they have to schedule interviews on THE SAME DAYS! Its like you have to apply to 50 programs just to get a few programs that offer on different days!

if you know you may be interested in spine, beaumont should get some special consideration. Dr. Herkowitz, the PD and chairman, is a VERY prominent spine guy-serious heavy hitter! Obviously, as competitive as spine is getting these days (with compensation being ridiculous-may change soon though) you would want to keep this in the back of your mind.
