another quick question regarding away rotations. Does the order of the aways matter, i.e. rotating at your #1 last?
Does it matter if you rotate at an away before you rotate at your home program? Thanks.

My opinion is that it is a balance between looking buffed vs. burned out. Obviously you don't want to look too green on ANY of your ortho rotations but I wouldn't recommend rotating at your #1 first. It would be a good idea to get one rotation under your belt before heading into that one so you can speak the language easier, know how to be helpful to residents, present patients quickly and thoroughly, etc.

Further, I wouldn't recommend rotating at your number one last. I wouldn't encourage anyone to do so many aways that they are burned out and look lazy on their last one because it only takes one bad day to ruin 3 weeks of good days. But if this were to happen, you wouldn't want it to happen at your number one. I recommend 1-2 at your home program and 1-2 aways (others will say more, this is just my opinion).

Best of luck and just remember to always work hard and smile.
