I have posted a previous topic but did not get much of a response which was surprising as I thought my question would be common and relevant to others:
I'm an orthopaedic resident who was to commute a fair distance to and from work everyday and am frustrated by this wasted down time and so was looking for a way to listen to lectures on my ipod.
I'm therefore looking for any orthopaedic audio material (doesnt need to be in mp3 format - I am computer savvy and can convert formats easily).
Does anyone out there have CDs from paid courses, podcasts, even bootlegged material from dictaphones that you'd taken into grand rounds etc?
I want to use my "down" commuting time more constructively. Please help Rendering Error in layout BBCode/Image: Layout 'BBCode/Image:default' Not Found. Please enable debug mode for more information.
There are audio cd's that could be converted that cover a wide range of topics, and are basically CME. They have all diferent specialties, EM, ortho, FP, any of them. Audio Digest CME, google is your friend and should get you them.
Thanks - that audio digest stuff looks interesting but its $300+
Does anyone have any bootlegged copies or other bootlegged stuff? Alternatively anyone interested in splitting the cost - i.e buying one subscrition and burning copies of the cds?
we usually buy stuff and split it up in our program. Luckily, we have a few guys who are good at getting around copyright protection. There are tons of audio stuff out there. Look on the academy website.
I am still looking but have come up empty handed. Please let me know if you personally have anything - I am happy to buy in to the sharing is caring club.
