after meeting with my program director, i have learned that a pass is considered a red flag and could be interpreted as a programs way of stating that they do not think orthopaedics is a good fit for you. for a high pass, he said to just be prepared with an answer as to how you could have done better on the rotation. high pass not a big deal, but obviously not as good as honors. Pass=big problems for interviews, "red flag".
