i am a resident at Medical University of Ohio. The program has markedly improved over the past year with the addition of three new attendings, (sports, joints, spine) and the recent building of an outpatient surgical center. the residents are happy and all get along well. The camraderie is great and the residents are very social.
Currently, there is so much operating going on, that clinics are often going uncovered. Still, almost all residents are out the door by 7:00pm. the exceptions are the two residents on trauma with our chairman. they often work until 8-9pm. While previously i felt that sports and joints were weak, the new attendings are quite busy already. Currently, the main weakness of our program is that it is in toledo ohio
