Heard a couple of things today that might help.

Union hopes to send out invites next week.

St. Lukes said they sent out email invites last night through eras.

Anyone hear from Lenox Hill yet? St. Lukes/Roosevelt? Union Memorial?

So, here is how I found out about my MUSC rejection. Ater having e-mailed and called to find out, the department in which my fiance was applying finally had to call to find out. They still haven't let me know, so I had to get the rejection from my fiance. So, I haven't heard from them, but I kinda have. This is just to let you guys out there in limbo know that they probably aren't going to be knocking down your doorstep anytime soon to let you know it is no. Good luck to all. See you on the trail.

Anyone know about what to expect on the Jefferson interview? Intense or benign? I also thought I heard something a while ago about a station where they make you do something with your hands... perhaps widdling a scaphoid out of an avacado or something

I received an interview from Mt Carmel 12/9 with several Wed in January offered.

I called Rush last week to see what the deal was. They said that they were still sending out interviews for January 12. The review process was underway. They did not say when the interview offers would be sent out.

Has anyone heard from St. Louis or Mount Carmel or know their interview dates?

Are there other people out there who haven't heard from UCSD? It seems that several people have posted interview invitations and rejections. . . just wondering what my status might be.

one place told me they are certain i had called them before and seemed unhappy about me calling again.

Got tired of being in limbo so I called or emailed a few programs yesterday (12/3).
1. emailed UC Irvine: promptly replied with a rejection email without answering any of my questions.
2. Called Mayo: I have called a few times in the past also and they never replied. I think it's time for me to stop calling.
3. UC Davis: were supposed to send out more invites yesterday. Did anyone get those invites?
4. Called U of Illinois: likely will not send out more invitations. It seems they're stringing us along 'till the very end in case some catastrophe decimates most of the people interviewing.
5. Called U of MD: will send some invites early next week. did not clarify if these would still be for 12/11 or 1/8. They would be competing with some damn good programs for the 8th though.
6. Emailed UCSF: I must have been the 2,000th person to email as that email address no longer works.
7. Called Orlando: same as for Mayo
8. Atlanta Medical: Same as for Mayo

My overall experince with calling is that more than 1/2 the programs are probably tired of people calling. Some of these give some BS response to get you off their back. A few others are genuinely trying to help.

here is a list of some of those programs that I compiled from emailing/calling the programs. I contacted most of these over one month ago so beware that all not be set in stone.

temple - 1/15/05 only date
st lukes - 1/8, 1/22, 1/29
lenox hill - 1/14 only date, same as HSS (what the hell is up with that?!)
GW - 1/7, 1/14, 1/21 - already sent out some invites
northwestern - don't eexpect to get if you didn't rotate: 11/29, 12/6, 12/13, 12/20, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31.

if anyone has different dates than above, please post what you have.

NYMC - Valhalla (Westchester Medical Center) is interviewing on 1/15. They only have one interview date. Supposedly planning on sending out invites in the next week or two.

Mt. Sinai is interviewing 1/21 and 1/22.

Called Writght State (Miami Valley) they said next week for invites, if anyone is interested.

The first UMass date is for rotators, but there are a couple of openings b/c of peeps changing the dates. They are going to contact some about those spots, otherwise the apps are still being reviewed.

calles UTSW some time ago and said they would send invites on 12/1. Hasn't happend yet but I assume they should be coming some time this week.

On a different note, UofMass has 1st date on 17Dec. Has anyone heard from them? will this be a replay of the maryland scenario?

has anyone else heard nothing from loyola? i've seen interview invites and rejections have been sent out, but i haven't recieved either.
